The best brace is not simply the most expensive or most heavily advertised. It must unload the correct compartment, fit the leg, stay in place, and be practical enough to wear.
Before choosing a product
- Confirm whether medial or lateral unloading is intended.
- Decide whether off-the-shelf sizing is likely to work or custom measurement is needed.
- Ask about prescription, insurance, return, adjustment, and refitting requirements.
- Use a clinician, orthotist, or DME professional when the arthritis pattern or fit is uncertain.

Commercial model
The initial release uses neutral official-source links only. A later affiliate or sponsored model may be considered if it preserves product-independent ordering, clearly labels compensation, and does not replace fitting guidance with direct-response sales copy.
